Two Taliban leaders halted in southern Afghanistan

Two Taliban leaders were detained in southern Afghanistan by Afghan and International Security Assistance Forces during a joint military operation, said ISAF officials. The operation was conducted in Nahr-e-Saraj district, southern Helmand province.

The operation was launched by security forces in Pul-e ‘Alam district, announced ISAF officials. Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the reports.
