Two Taliban leaders detained

Taliban leader was detained during a joint operation conducted by Afghan and Coalition forces in Maiwand district of Kandahar province today, released by ISAF officials.
Source added, the detained leaders took active part in anti-government operations and executed military attacks against Coalition troops.

The Taliban leaders were arrested in southern and Maiwand district of Kandahar.
In the main time Afghan and Coalition forces arrested the second Taliban leader in southern Kandahar province, said ISAF officials.
Multiple suspected insurgents were detained during the operation, it said. The detained suspected insurgents were taken into custody by Afghan security forces for further questioning.
