New bank account for reconstructing historical palaces

Kabul Mayor, Mohammad Younous Nowandish, put a new effort so that reconstruct the historical palaces in different sites. Nowandish has created a new bank account to collect the fund for this project.
Darul Aman, Chehl Soton, and Taj Big palaces are considered to be reconstructed.
Mohammad Younis Naw Andish said, many Afghans have the tendency to take a part financially for reconstruction of these historical sites in Kabul city.
Hamid Karzai and other governmental officials appreciated the mayor’s plan
He added, the Municipality of capital Kabul has the capable budget for reconstructing these historical palaces. However, we have decided to subsume Afghan people in this project.
He also said, by implementing this project we are encouraging the citizens of Afghanistan to participate in reconstruction and development of Afghanistan.
This is the first time that an Afghan official urges the residents of Afghanistan rather than International Community to contribute for the reconstruction of Afghanistan during the recent years.
Darul Aman palace and Taj Baig palace was constructed during the kingdom of King Amanullah Khan during 1919 to 1929 while the Chehl Seton palace was constructed during the period of King Zaman Sadozai during the years of 1810.
Mayor of the Kabul city Mohammad Younus Naw Andish is hopeful to successfully complete the reconstruction projects of historical sites in capital Kabul; however, he has been recognized as a successful mayor for his initiatives for the maintenance of capital Kabul.
The Mayor’s plan for reconstructing the historical palaces was appreciated by President Hamid Karzai. President promised to settle a part of his salary for the reconstruction of palaces.
