Pakistan's Twenty20 Cricket Federation team defeated the visiting Afghanistan's junior team 3-0 in the three-match "Play for Peace" Twenty20 Cricket Series in the country's northwestern provincial capital of Peshawar on Wednesday, Xinhua news agency reported.
Culture Attache in the Afghanistan Consulate in Peshawar Perveen Malal, and a large number of spectators were present to witness the thrilling match. Pakistan's state-run television PTV live telecasted all the three matches of the series.

Afghanistan's national team arrived at Pakistan on Saturday to play the series against the Pakistan's junior cricket team as Pakistan's national team is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) playing matches against England.
Earlier on Feb. 11, Pakistani cricket team played an One-day international match against Afghanistan in UAE and won it by seven wickets. Pakistan has been supporting Afghanistan for the development of the cricket by providing its coaches to Afghanistan team and offering opportunities to Afghanistan players to play in Pakistan
