Bombing and shootings leave 32 deaths, injures dozens

A wave of bombings and shootings across Iraq killed at least 32 people and dozens were injured on Thursday. Twenty-two people were killed in attacks in Baghdad, an interior ministry official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said. According to the source the attacks targeted the police officers occurred between 6:00 am and 8:00 am local time.
The attacks targeted police checkpoint and officers.
The blast left four deaths in Salaheddin and six others in Diyala, reported a police colonel in the province. The provinces located in northern capitan Baghdad. The worst blast detonated in the Shiite neighborhood of Karradah during rush hour, shaking buildings and windows blocks away, said police.
Hundreds have been killed in attacks since American forces completed their pullout from Iraq on December 18. The violence reflects ongoing sectarian tensions amid a political row in Iraq.
